Privacy policy
ExcelAnalyzer is a static site. Workbook analysis runs in your browser. The file is not uploaded, not stored on a server, and not written into a cookie. When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, the Google tag loads with the page. That request is about the page view and does not include the workbook. Search Console verification is only a meta tag. AdSense stays off until you accept the notice. The contact form sends text only to support@excelanalyzer.com, through your own email app, and it has no file field.
Verify it yourself
- Open a tool page in Chrome or Edge.
- Press F12, open the Network tab, and enable Preserve log.
- Clear the existing list.
- Drop a workbook onto the page.
- The analyzer script may download from this site the first time you use it. You should see no request whose body is your workbook, and no POST or PUT of the file. With the Google IDs left blank, you should also see no request to another site. If Analytics is configured, the page may contact Google when it loads, and ads may contact Google after you accept. Those requests do not contain the workbook.
- Optional: disconnect the network after the page has loaded and analyze again. The same report should appear, because parsing does not need a connection.
Choosing a file can load the analyzer program from excelanalyzer.com. That request is the program, not your workbook. Resetting the page drops the in-memory copy.
